Students remember the 17 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School victims

Broward County Public Schools students remembered the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting on Friday by reading the names of the 17 victims.

Driftwood Elementary School students in Hollywood stood in a LOVE-shaped formation and marked a “Day of Service” in their memory.

Ramblewood Elementary School students in Coral Springs volunteered to donate non-perishable food to those in need in memory of the Parkland victims.

There was also a memorial in the works for a commemoration ceremony from 4 to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Pine Trails Park, at 10555 Trails End, in Parkland.
