Democrat running to oversee billions in taxpayer money has history of financial missteps

Yvonne Yiu, a Democrat running for California’s Board of Equalization — the agency responsible for overseeing billions of dollars in the state’s property tax system  —  has made financial competency the center of her campaign despite having a history of lawsuits and fines for mishandling money.
