NYS Comptroller candidate Raj Goyle wants to take utility hikes out of hands of bureaucrats: ‘Getting squeezed’

New York’s sky high gas and electric costs is emerging as an explosive issue in the race for state comptroller. Democratic candidate Raj Goyle is unveiling an “Energy Fairness and Ratepayer Accountability” plan that would have the comptroller be the “ratepayers cop on the beat” directly auditing the utilities and the Public Service Commission.
