Get your resume ready. Broward County Public Schools is looking to fill 1,300 positions.
Open positions include teachers, school counselors, speech-language pathologists, classroom/teacher assistants, bus drivers, security staff, custodians and food service workers.
School principals and district staff will be meeting with applicants during the event on Saturday at Western High School, 1200 S.W. 136th Ave. in Davie.
Interviews will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to a media release, more than 1,500 applicants walked through the doors of Western High School this morning for the career fair.
BCPS said out of those who attended, almost 500 received job offers on-the-spot, pending verification of qualifications.
According to a BCPS spokesperson, new hires included more than 170 teachers and more than 300 non-instructional positions.
The applications of hundreds of other candidates will be reviewed and processed for follow-up by District staff.
The 2023-2024 school year begins on Aug. 21st.
