Broward school on lockdown due to possible weapon on campus

A Broward County high school was placed on lockdown Thursday afternoon due to a report about a possible weapon on campus.

The incident was reported at South Plantation High School, located at 1300 SW 54th Ave.

Plantation police said no actual threat was made and no one has been taken into custody.

Officers are searching the school as they investigate.
