Gov. Ron DeSantis is scheduled to speak Wednesday at the Florida Education Commissioner’s Summit, an event set to take place at Miami-Dade College’s Wolfson Campus.
The summit will be held at the school’s Idea Center, located at 315 NE 2nd Ave., in downtown Miami.
DeSantis is expected to address state education priorities and highlight Florida’s ongoing policies on school choice, parental rights and curriculum reforms.
The event comes as the DeSantis administration continues to reshape the state’s public education system through legislation and budget proposals that have drawn both praise and criticism across political lines.
