The Miami HEAT’s season of giving event on Tuesday focused on the Lotus House in Overtown.
A group of Miami County Public Schools students in the team’s school-to-work program visited the women’s shelter to volunteer at the Children’s Village.
The volunteers assembled gifts, prepared meals, and supported the teaching team at the village’s Urgent Academy.
